The technology and infrastructure behind Businessbeans is partnered by Adobe. Your online presence will be powered and supported within their secure data center in Sydney. This means that our servers have:

  • Multiple cooling and power distribution paths for stable systems
  • Multiple active power distribution paths to prevent down time from blackouts
  • Redundant components for fault tolerance
  • High connectivity and power into our machines
The data centre is connected to the net via Tier 1 networks, or have peering arrangements with Tier 1 networks. This means that our servers are essentially hooked in to the "backbone" of the internet, which generally results in higher network speeds and lower latency from your customer's browser to our servers. And on top of all that we allow you 1TB (1000GB) of bandwidth per month!

What about data management? Do you provide back ups?

All servers have regular full and differential backups and are load balanced, meaning if a server goes down all traffic is diverted to a mirrored server. Backups of your business website also includes your customer database, orders and email marketing campaigns

What does an online business specialist at Businessbeans do?

The online business specialists local to the Sunshine Coast will masterfully work with you and instruct our own team of designers and programmers to place your online business website onto the Businessbeans Platform of your choice. The monthly fee gives you all of your platform environment features, but also includes an online business specialist giving you unlimited support. You will, in effect, have your very own design, development and support team as and when you need them at a moments notice. Your online business specialist is there to support and guide you and your business.

How many email newsletter campaigns can I send out each month?

On the eCommerce Platform, you can send 10,000 email newsletters per month at no extra cost; on the Business Platform you can send 1,000 newsletters per month at no extra cost. If you want to send out more, you can purchase additional email newsletter packs.

Can I upgrade from Business Platform to eCommerce Platform?

Of course, if you would like to take advantage of the extra features of the eCommerce Platform you can upgrade very easily. One of our online business specialists will be able to assist on making the most out of the additional features. The monthly fee is slightly higher for the eCommerce Platform.

Can I cancel my Businessbeans Platform if I no longer require it?

Yes, we operate on a month by month rolling subscription basis after your initial setup onto the Businessbeans Platform. You can cancel at anytime and will be refunded pro-rata for any days remaining in the month you cancelled.
